In the idyllic Trudner Horn Nature Park in Altrei, South Tyrol lies the Langeshof, a hotel run with dedication by Adele and her son Benedikt. Here guests are pampered with both warmth and passion. Adele is the chef and prepares delicious traditional specialities from South Tyrol and Altrei cuisine. Benedikt is the perfect advisor for everything related to holidays, such as exciting excursions and tours. He is also a true connoisseur and knows exactly which wine goes best with which dish. Grandma Judith also helps out; she tends the wonderful vegetable garden with plenty of experience, dedication and joy and works on the farm's own field every day.

Over 60 years of Langeshof

WHERE HOSPITALITY AND PROFESSIONALISM GO HAND IN HAND

Langeshof is a place with history and heart. It has been owned by the family and run with passion for about 150 years. Back in the 1930s, the house opened its doors to the first guests who wanted to discover the beauty of South Tyrol. Despite war and change, Langeshof has always remained a place of hospitality and homeliness. Today, Adele and her son Benedikt welcome their guests and pamper them with culinary delights and personal service. Langeshof is more than a hotel; it is a home from home.

How it all began... The farm was first mentioned in a document.

Matthias Zwerger, the great-great-grandfather of the current owner Adele, acquired the Langeshof.

The farm was divided between the sons Matthias and Benedikt. Benedikt built a new farm for himself and his family, today's Langeshof, and Matthias ran his father's farm opposite.

During this period, Benedikt began renting out private rooms as the initial signs of today's tourism began to appear.

The Second World War interrupted people's regular lives and tourism.

Just a few years after the end of the war, Adele's grandparents Maria and Maximilian reopened their doors to guests, which have not been closed since.

The Langeshof was officially registered as a “Pension Bar Restaurant” and since then over 60 years have passed. The house was made larger during 1965/66.

The Langeshof was extended and the building underwent a major remodelling.

Today Adele and her son Benedikt warmly welcome guests and create an atmosphere in which you quickly feel at home and where you enjoy spending your holidays.
